I love this so much Emmie ✨as someone who works in content creation/brand design (but kinda fatigued by it) from an inside pov, being yourself and breaking the rules is as good as any strategy that you could use (sm is a crazy place at the minute!).
Also a B-School dropout 😅… I definitely went through a period in the the 2010s where I hustled so hard, and was so sad I couldn’t grow my following to the thousands I felt would let me finally leave my 9-5 and work for myself. It really battered my creative confidence for a while there. A decade later and I still haven’t reached that level and while quietly I’d like to, the anxiety about it isn’t there so much now. I just want to share art, writing, life and magic with like-minded folks. The people I love to follow and connect with online are just simply themselves and I adore sending messages back and forth with yourself and a few other lovely folks ☁️🌸
