Okay before we really get into the meat of this, I’m having a bit of a moment right now, and I feel it’s important to share it with you.
I’m sitting now, in my favourite cafe to write at, about a twenty minute walk from home. This is part of why I love it. Walk. Write. Pick up a couple of things from the store. Pop into Muji. Pop on a podcast. Walk back home. Scoop Mumu up at the door. She fights her way out of my arms pretending she didn’t miss me at all (she did). Fresh energy at home for getting back into work, reading a book, or something new. These little moments are what I live for. This feels like my version of success. Something I’ve been feeling into more and more at the moment. It’s so different, so much quieter than I ever expected.
